Chapter 5:Mr. Wickham.

Bennet´s doughters went to Meryton in the morning with Mr. Collins.Then, they met Mr. Wickham. He was a very good-looking man and he had just joined the army.Later, Darcy and Bingley came riding down the street directly towards them.Mr. Bingley touched his hat in greeting, but Mr. Darcy seemed hardly to move a finger in return.In another minute, Mr. Darcy and Bingley rode home. Lizzy didn´t understand Mr. Darcy´s attitude. Mr. Wickham said her that he brought up with Darcy and his father managed Mr. Darcy´s affairs. Mr. Darcy´s father loved Wickham like a second child and the day when he died, he left a rectory to the young man.But Mr. Darcy ignored his wishes and gave that property to another man.
